QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT

It is the policy of Safer Security Solutions Limited that every Employee, Manager, Team Leader & Director supports and further develops the company’s’ approach to Quality Management and the procedures, work instructions and guidance notes that define the services which we provide. In particular:

  • We are committed to totally satisfying our Clients’ requirements as well as those of legislative or regulatory bodies; industry codes of practice and other approved body requirements.

  • This commitment extends to every level from top management throughout the Organization and is evidenced by our Integrated Management System Team who continually strives to improve our service both in terms of reliability and value.

  • The conduct of our business is based on an ethical, honest and fair approach in all our dealings with clients, staff and the general public and is designed, wherever possible, to protect the environment, not only in the specification of building materials but also in maintaining an awareness of the effect of our day to day activities.

SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

Safer Security Solutions Limited aims to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of our employees while they are at work and of others who may be affected by our undertakings. This general policy statement provides a commitment and intent to comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
To ensure the principles of health and safety are clearly understood throughout the Organization, we will be committed to:

  • complying with relevant health and safety laws and regulations, voluntary programs, collective agreements on health and safety and other requirements to which the Organization subscribes;

  • setting and monitoring of health and safety objectives for the Organization;

  • effective communication of and consultation on health and safety matters throughout the Organization;

  • assessing the risks to the safety and health of our employees and others who may be affected by our activities and implementing controls to minimize those risks;

  • preventing work-related injuries, ill health, disease and incidents;

  • providing and maintaining safe plant and equipment and implementing safe systems of work;

  • the safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances;

  • providing and maintaining a safe working environment with safe access, egress and welfare facilities;

  • providing the necessary training to our employees and others, including temporary employees to ensure their competence with respect to health and safety;

  • providing suitable and sufficient information, instruction and supervision for employees;

  • continually improving the performance of our health and safety management;

  • devoting the necessary resources in the form of finance, equipment, personnel and time to ensure the health and safety of our employees and seeking expert help where the necessary skills are not available within the Organization;

  • an annual review and when necessary the revision of this health and safety policy;

  • making this policy available to relevant interested external parties, as appropriate.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT

Safer Secuity Solutions Limited provide commercial manned guarding services to local industry, hotels, pubs, clubs, concert venues, and private venues.

We recognise that some of our operations can significantly impact on the environment, and we will take all reasonable steps to minimise that impact, while still keeping sight of our business objectives and therefore we are committed to adhering to best environmental practices whilst carrying out business.

The Company will ensure the availability of environmental information including that the dissemination of such information is processed through briefing, instruction, training and supervision for all our employees.

Our commitment to the environment includes continually improving our performance, preventing pollution wherever possible and complying with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.

In particular, we will:

  • Manage our processes so as to avoid/minimise waste.

  • Work to minimise our use of energy.

  • Seek to influence all our stakeholders, clients, contractors and suppliers, to minimise the impact of vehicle emissions.

  • Include environmental considerations in investment decisions.

  • Ensure all employees have appropriate training and an awareness of this policy so that it is implemented effectively.

  • Develop guidelines with respect to developments in technology, industrial practices and legislation.

  • Aim to reduce material use and, use renewable or, recyclable-engineered materials.

  • Avoid the use of toxic materials and chemicals.

  • Assess actual and potential environmental effects of all activities in all parts of the business.

  • Adopt best processes and select the best practicable environmental option.

  • Review, monitor, and audit compliance to standards and guidelines including assessing the impact on business activities.

  • Strive for continuous improvement.
